New Sign

The Tree House got a new sign last week. Thanks to Drew (UC Signs) it looks great. It looks so much better than the old metal sign stuck in the yard. Thanks again Drew.

Maple Syrup Festival

Maple Syrup Festival - Held in conjunction with the Indian Lake State Park on March 21-22nd at the Indian Lake State Park Campground. The festival includes a wagon ride through the park to the tapping area for a tutorial on how maple syrup is extracted. Next, it's a stop at the Sugar Shack for a demonstration of the process by which sap is transformed into true maple syrup. While at the festival, enjoy a pancake and sausage breakfast prepared by Chamber members and volunteers. Maple syrup can be purchased from the ILDC booth.

Time change, yea baby!

Extra hour of daylight..................geese on the lake...............open water................squirrels and rabbits everywhere. Spring is just around the corner.

First guests of the year.

Well we are having our first guests of 2009 this week. Had to do a run through and check all the essentials. Everything is fine and ready to go. You never know what's going to work after the 15 below zero temps. we had a few weeks ago. Sure would be nice if it was 75 and sunny though. Oh well that's not far away.

Snow!!

The snow makes for a beautiful setting, especially is you're into skiing. Remember the mountain is only minutes away!!

Just booked a week in July.

Yeah, here we go, summers just around the corner. We are now booking weeks as we speak, or type. Thanks, Chris, I'm sure you'all will have a great time.

Holidays With Family

Oh my, it's family time. As much as we love it, I think next year I'll rent the Tree House for myself. Kids, Grandkids, and Large Dogs!!! It's a blast and we are all totally exhausted by the end of their stay.
